Cannot seem to get the colorist to let me be the blonde girl I've always been.I'm not having much luck getting to the color I want. Initially was told I'd need to go darker strawberry to transition to the light strawberry I opted for (given that the only other color that was recommended/permitted was the same light brown that grows, free of charge, out of my head). Went dark strawberry, way too dark for my comfort but an apparently necessary stop on the way to a lighter strawberry...Also way too gold so I went elsewhere to buy toner because eSalon doesn't sell toner. (???) Explained all of this to my colorist when it came time to adjust my color and was assured that they would adjust my next order accordingly. Received notification that my new color was about to be shipped, an entirely different color as per the formula pie chart. But only color for my roots. Went back and forth with my colorist (not least because the cost of coloring my entire head had gone from $12 to $70?!?) but eSalon, to it's credit, threw in an extra bottle of color so my roots and ends would match. Colored a couple of weeks ago, new color is still really dark, and really gold. Had to go out and buy toner again. I don't understand why this is happening- it's not like I'm trying to get from black to platinum here, people. If my colorist refuses to make with the bleach this next time around I will be cancelling for good. No point spending money and taking the time to do this myself if I can't get something close to what makes me feel like me. Two stars because the packaging is beautiful, instructions are really easy to follow, and customer service always gets right back to me. Does not lastMy last shipment was disappointing. It was a totally different color than I had from the previous month. My hair was so dark I almost cried. The only good thing is that it covered the grey hairUnfortunately, I did not get what I wanted and I what I was looking for. I wanted lighter colour, given options were not close enough to what I want. Unfortunately, the colour appeared a bit too dark, more into the black side. I was following precisely all instructions but... Not sure I will reorder it as there was too much of ammonium as well. I know that you will say that to colour grey hair you need ammonium... mmm... not sure, as it was well coloured in Aveda salons, definitely there was not as much of it as I got in this pack. I have not had a head ache after colouring for a long time and this time I've got it. I know there is no one cure for everyone, I am sure there are customers with great results. I didn’t for me! I would not recommend it!This arrived a few day in the mail. It’s well packaged and all. i was so excited to open it and use it. Well i finally used it and it did not work. My sister latter may hair with the solution. as in did it in small section to not miss and hair! After following the instructions it did not work! My gray hair that was pretty obvious for us to miss is still the same. I mean not even a hint of color got absorbed. The other thing is the chemical smell was so strong and it smelled for a few day after the first washing. I’m so disappointed not going to purchase again! I would not recommend this. Färben hat leider nicht funktioniert.Ich habe eine Intensivtönung bestellt und diese wie in der Beschreibung benutzt.
