Colour didn’t takeWas really looking forward to this deep brown and violet colour did all the steps was really careful to follow instructions and unfortunately it barely even covered my grey and there was literally NO violet colour that appeared not even on my roots . Kit looked really goodPleased with items in kit, decent gloves for a change! Good instructions However this product produced a good colour but at the expense of the condition of my hair. I have used many colours in the past and none have left my hair completely dry and parched like this one. I have tried various conditioning treatments since using the colour but to no avail. Wrong color for the 2nd timeMy first hair color left me with orange hair. I wanted a medium blond and it came out very orange that only got worse as the days went on. I was offered a free color change and decided to do so, and was assured it would not be orange/ red. I specifically asked for no reds in it at all. I tried the new color and my hair still has a lot of reds in it. It is very coppery and brassy looking. I’m very disappointed with my color again and regret dying my hair. I was really just hoping for a little fresher look when I started, and instead I now have hair I’m embarrassed about. The hair dye itself did not damage my hair at all. I do like that about this product. My hair still feels very healthy after dying it twice in a row. I’m also glad there weren’t any strong odors when mixing and applying the dye. Little effectThe dying process was very time consuming. In the end, I still had straggling grey hairs at the front over my face as well as stragglers throughout. It was too dark & it didn’t last past 10 washesThe color was darker than I wanted so the colorist has adjusted it. The solution was hard to get to come out of the bottle & was hurting my wrist squeezing it & it would come out in clumps so that part got really messy. I will just make those clothes my coloring hair clothes. But I had to cut the end of the bottle to get it to come out easier. Not a huge deal -but was a bit frustrating. The color between roots & the rest of my hair turned out well. My hair felt a bit dryer after the color- will try again to see if that is dry damage (more harsh on my hair than Clairol) or just a fluke. I would like to see how long this color lasts to see if it’s worth the cost. It didn’t cover the gray around my face & temples like it should have & I saturated those areas. Will try it one more time to see if it’s a much better experience to justify the cost over clairol box that I normally use. I’m hopeful that this turns into a partnership but just not convinced yet.- I plan to cancel - stylist said I must go darker to cover gray but drugstore brand lighter shades cover better at a fraction of the cost.
