Ok but not so great resultsLovely packaging and kit, clear instructions. However, colour isn't what I wanted, it has much more of a red/plum hint (I wanted a natural colour). And it hasn't covered the greys! I don't have many, a smattering at each temple, but this is the first colour that hasn't even attempted to colour them. And as the colour is darker than my natural hair, they stand out more.... Colour has evened out a little, but neither stage appeared to have taken particularly well. For a semi permanent colour, that is said to be a tailored colour. Not sure I agree with that. I can achieve a more natural, grey coverage, even and tonal colour from a box dye picked up for less than £8. One step, no mess. Schädlicher GeruchAuf den ersten Blick macht das Set einen ansprechenden Eindruck. Alles gut erklärt und man kann eigentlich nichts falsch machen. Der stark beißende Geruch nach dem Anrühren ist allerdings alles andere als ansprechend. Man hat beim Auftragen kein gutes Gefühl. Die Farbe ist so ganz okay, aber das Geld nicht Wert in meinen Augen. Meine Farbe aus der Drogerie ist keineswegs schlechter und riecht sehr angenehm. Miles away from the colour I choseIf I were able to give no stars I would. The colour was the complete opposite to what I ordered. I filled in the hair quiz and picked the colour from the suggestions. I’ve always gone for bright copper colours but this didn’t even have a hint of copper. It was a dark red colour with almost no copper colour at all. I included pictures of my hair. Picked the desired colour out of the options best for me and included that I was looking for a bright copper. I’ve never had a copper dye so far away from this. In fact I’ve never opted for a copper colour and has it turn out a deep red....not copper, red. Extremely disappointed. The colour mixed for my roots was terrible. It left my roots a medium brown which created the look of regrowth immediately after colouring. I’ve had better box dyes. Really unhappyThe idea is great but in my case it was poorly executed. The box and products are a lovely deign, the instructions are clear and thorough. However my colour is so dark (black!) from the desired outcome. I selected golden mahogany from the dark brown range and it’s practically black. I’ve had so many comments (and I said comments because none of them are compliments!) about how dark the colour is. I’ve used colour stripping shampoos to try and reverse some of the damage but no success. Underwhelming, colour did not takePackage arrived, lovely presentation and I like the personalisation and layout, everything you could need was in the box. I was sent a root colour and an ends colour, as I haven’t coloured my hair for a while I was looking forward to a top up (copper colour). Product mixed well and was a good consistency, easy to apply, but the smell / product made my eyes water, strongest smelling dye I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot of different colours over the years!) Having a separate dye for roots and ends makes sense and wasn’t a problem to apply 2 separate bottles. Before rinsing out it advised to mix the last of the dye with water and apply all over, and massage in for 2-3 minutes....do not do this in a room that doesn’t have wipe clean walls! The results were unfortunately very underwhelming, I was anticipating a rich, vibrant, full copper colour, the roots have covered well, greys are gone, but the mids-ends haven’t really changed. In fact I’d say there is less colour than there was prior to dying it which I don’t understand at all. I separated into small sections and fully saturated the hair and worked the colour in, left it for the full amount of time, but my hair did not take on any of the colour. Damaged/leaking bottleThe developer bottle had a small crack causing a minor leak in the packaging. I went ahead and colored my hair only to struggle with a very strong odor. I followed the instructions to the T but, when I started the last step the odor was so strong it made my eyes start burning. I do have to say the color is beautiful and more than I expected. Very unhappy with itAlthough this did leave my hair feeling healthier than most dyes, I was very unhappy with the color. It looks nothing like what I wanted. Whoever I talked to said the color I originally picked would be too dark so I went down a shade but when I got it it ended up being too light. I can’t see the purple tint at all, even in the sun, and the roots don’t match well with the ends even though I followed the instructions.
