Looks like salon color and highlightsIt took a little tweaking because first few times I felt my color started to go brassy. I discussed with color specialist and went a tad darker and occasionally used the tint rinse. Light Sets became available and really gave a professional look to my hair. 2nd use, still impressed!I'm still impressed with eSalon products. I think I waited a bit too long between colorings. However, I can't believe how well or how long the dye lasted. (8+ weeks) And I didn't have a lot (length) of gray showing. It seems the color faded all over...so when I followed the directions to only concentrate on my roots, then massage the rest in as I showered...I don't feel I got as good of a coverage over all as the first time. However, it gave the effect of having some highlights. I've had several compliments. So, I'm ok with it. I tried the shampoos and leave in conditioner. eSalon Totally Saved Me...in more ways than one!A natural born redhead to the mother of a woman / "beautician" who as a single parent in the 50's had a beauty shop in our home! Unfortunately, I lost Mama Harriett when I was in my 30's and way before I had to start coloring my hair! When that day came, (when even my then teenage kids told me I should color my hair!), I picked up a box of Clairol Medium Auburn and that's what I used for years before I became dissatisfied with the drabness of my color after just a few weeks of coloring. I decided it was time for a change and grabbed a box of Clairol Medium Garnet...the results of which I'll spare you the details but guarantee HARRIETT was rolling over in her grave,,, LAUGHING! I was in a huge hurry after I got out of the shower that morning and shocked myself when I looked in the mirror...I tried everything to get the dark stain off my skin on my eyebrows to no avail. I had an appointment with a new client I was following to their home from the hospital and could not be late. I threw on my strategically placed (to cover eyebrows) cool Olive Green Fedora and "owned it"... for two weeks! When I finally had the nerve to go out in public without the Fedora, my son-in-law was the first to ask if that's why I'd been wearing a hat while my daughter scrambled to call a shop to "get me fixed". Quite frankly, my fear was that living on social security, I could not afford $140+ to color my hair each time and told my daughter the only way I would go to a shop was if they agreed to give me the formula. $400 later, they gave me the formula alright but I didn't have a way to purchase the Professional Wella they were using without a license!! Finally, over a year later I learned about and contacted eSalon.
