ammonia free - vs with ammonia colorI was excited to learn that e-salon had introduced an ammonia-free version of the permanent color. I tried it for several colorings - and while the color looked ok to start, it faded quickly and lacked the brilliant shine I was used to on my mahogany/copper/highlighted hair. When I last saw my stylist (haircuts, only) I mentioned the issue, and she immediately told me to go back to the ammonia formula, which I have instructed my colorist to change back. Not sure why the ammonia-free color was dull and faded, but as I understand the technology, the ammonia opens up the hair cuticle which allows the color to penetrate deeper into the hair shaft and therefore produce more shine and depth of color. SatisfiedIm satisfied with my order but wish I could get the toner at a lower price. I don’t need it every time I color my hair just every other month. So I go to Sally’s and buy it. 6.71 Light Brown Matte AshHappy to finally find a light brown shade that doesn’t turn out black. I have almost 50% grays and this color covered my roots (6.71 Light Brown Matte Ash). I advise that you divide your hair in 6 sections for better application and gray coverage. I purchased it again and will continue to use it for root touch up. In the other hand, I had a negative experience with the “light to medium brunette toner” should not be advertised as a “toner”. My experience with that product is that it is a BLACK Demi-permanent color that doesn’t tone but darkens any shade you have in your hair. Worth the riskIt’s a risk to buy a color from somewhere and not be sure of what it will look like. The color came out pretty well actually. I just wish it had a bit more of a red tint to it. It just came out pretty dark brown. 1 de 1 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |
