Consistent, grey coverageAs a root touch up, the coverage is excellent and the color matches well with the rest of the hair. Even though I leave it on for twice the time instructed, (1hr) it actually works. Store bought color turned brassy and coverage was spotty. Salon color took 3 hrs and was pricier. I also do not have much fading. I apply about every 5 weeks due to new growth. By the way, I love the shampoo/conditioner that comes in the full color kit every month. Great colorI get so many compliment on my hair color. People believe that it is natural... Not possible at my age.. My natural color is a dark brown with lots of gray mixed in. I always had my color (strawberry blond, light brown mix) done at the salon, but I would itch all through the process. I tried this and never went back.
