As a Color Muse Pro and licensed colorist, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with us to continue to serve your clients at home. We’ll set you up with a unique URL to share and offer you the ability to walk your clients through crafting their first Custom Hair Color and earn some cash.

Together we can help your clients practice self-care during this difficult time before they’re able to get back into the salon and your chair. Plus, you’ll have confidence in knowing they’re touching up their roots between appointments with a salon-quality custom color to match yours.

How it works.

Get your unique URL.

Fill out a quick application and tell us a little about yourself. Then, we’ll send you a unique URL to share with your friends and clients that sends them directly to our Custom Hair Color quiz.
Share & consult.

Walk your clients through the eSalon experience over the phone, Facetime, or Zoom. Once clients receive their color, you’ll be able to walk them through their application, step by step. Your loyal clients need your expertise, so this is a great way to guide them along the way as our partner in color.
Earn.

For every new client you refer, you’ll earn $20 for their very-first order and $5 for every order after that. We also recommend that you and your client agree on a courtesy fee for your help with their at-home color application before you get started.

How does eSalon work?

Your online colorist crafts a custom color that’s just for you, taking into account your hair history, color goal, and percentage of gray. Your Color Set then ships to your door, complete with everything you need to color at home like a pro.

What makes eSalon different?

We’ve crafted over 227k unique color combinations to date—so you know your color is truly custom down to the last drop. Plus, you’ll have access to a personal colorist to make any adjustments and offer tips. Can’t get that with premade dyes.

About the Program

What is the eSalon Color Muse Pro Program?

The eSalon Color Muse Pro Program is a way for colorists to continue helping their clients with their at-home hair color needs.

Apply to our program, and we’ll send you a unique-to-you URL to share with your clients.
Once a client clicks through the URL, they’ll go directly to the eSalon website to take the quiz and craft their custom color.
You’ll walk them through the process from creating their custom color formula to color application.
You’ll earn $20 for each client who purchases a Custom Color Set using your unique URL, plus an additional $5 for every recurring color order after that. You’ll also earn $5 on first-time product-only purchases including hair care and accessories.

What happens when I go back to the salon?

This program is intended to act as an opportunity for stylists to stay in touch with their loyal clients and support them when they are looking for color solutions at home during this tough time. Your clients can always switch back to their previous formula or continue to order their eSalon color and bring it into your salon.

Can you provide eSalon’s color chart?

Can you convert existing formulas?

Yes, we can! If you add a note with the current formula and what color line you are using, we can translate that to eSalon color. Just as a note, the color name may differ from brand to brand, but don’t worry, the color results will stay the same. In addition to adding existing formulas, your clients should go through the widget so we can best match color in their custom kits.

Earnings & Payment

Can I charge my clients a stylist fee separate from this program?

We recommend that you and your client agree on a courtesy fee for your help with their color selection and a virtual at-home color application before you get started.

Can I get a discount code for my client?

We don’t offer special discount codes linked to this program. You will earn $20 for every first-time custom color order and $5 for every order after that.

When will I get paid?

We pay via PayPal on the 1st of every month.
