Once you've used a permanent hair color, you can no longer lift (go lighter) your hair color using an eSalon product. This can only be accomplished using a multi-step process involving the use of haircolor remover and then subsequent treatments to correct for remaining underlying pigment in your hair and desired color.
After a Demi-permanent treatment, your hair color will lighten as the demi-permanent color fades from your hair. This will typically occur in approximately 28 shampoos. The process can be accelerated by using clarifying shampoos.
