DOES NOT COVER GRAYSI would NOT RECOMMEND if you have any gray hair at all, I specifically told them I have hard to cover grays when ordering. I colored for the first time yesterday and I’ve gotten better results from a drug store box coloring kit. Sent an email and all they said was sorry we will adjust for next order. Well that doesn’t help me now and the reason for the color was my 50th bday. Guess I won’t be coving my grays for my birthday. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Color was great againThe first time there were two bottles of color one for the roots one for the ends. My hair is thick and medium length i had plenty. The second month was only one bottle of color. I have a pretty decent chunk that didn’t get colored properly because i didn’t have enough so that was kind of disappointing. does not lastI am disappointed in the product because it simply does not last. I think the color is great the first week and by the third week I have a whole new different color which is much lighter than the original and brassy. I am canceling my future orders because it's not a good value for me and I shouldn't have to color my hair every 2-3 weeks to have a great color. Hair like strawI requested an ash blond color for my thick, shoulder length hair. Unfortunately, the end result was dry, dull hair with way too much gold. The shampoo provided dried my hair terribly and the tiny amount of conditioner that was in the kit didn't even cover one eight of my hair. My hair feels and looks like dried out straw. Instead of providing silly extras like stain-remover and extra gloves, why doesn't esalon simply provide a sufficient amount of conditioner like L'Oreal does?
