I have been coloring my hair for well over 20 years - only occasionally have I ventured to a Salon for a professional hair coloring given I have to color my roots so frequently. This past year I made a few mistakes with my hair color that led to having mismatched roots that I couldn't seem to correct - no matter what I tried. I decided to try Esalon since I really do want to stick with at home hair coloring. I can tell you that I am THRILLED with the results!! I can't stop looking in the mirror - no longer do I see an obvious color difference between my roots and the rest of my hair. It is one beautiful shiny, healthy looking color!! LOVE THIS!!!

Love the color and simplicity of using this product at home! I recommended ESalon to a redheaded friend of mine, and for the first time in decades she is happy with her hair color. ESalon really listened to her and got the color perfect...something her salons couldn't do for her.

I love this product. I've been coloring my hair off and on for 30 years. This is the best gray coverage I've got outside of a salon. The color is rich and my hair looks healthy. I applied the coloring 4 weeks ago and the gray hairs are not showing through.

Wow! What a fabulous hair dyeing experience!! Covers ALL my stubborn grey hairs that salon dyes failed to do! Will continue using this product and save myself £80 every 4 weeks!!

Torn, I love it myself, but friends and family think I went too 'bright' too fast, that I should have been more gradual so it wasn't so obviously a new color. I don't get out much, so for them to notice so quickly ... lends credence to their input. I love my colorist, I love the product, and I love that I can send a message directly to my colorist to ask for her input. Thanks eSalon!

I was very nervous doing my own color, trying to find the perfect color using pictures on a computer was challenging.
I have colored twice and I am extremely satisfied. Great directions, Purchasing the coloring tools a must!

Honestly I've been very reluctant to try my own hair color as I never know which boxed color would be right. This was very easy and the results looked like my stylists. I will definitely try again!

I started this process extremely skeptical. I had an very specific colour that I wanted matched. I spoke to one of the colorist on the phone and discussed what I was looking for. I was still unsure if they would be able to match the wanted color so I did a test strip first, and it was a perfect match! I am unbelievably happy with the outcome. Thank you eSalon.

Absolutely loved the selection and colour matching process. Excellent quality good coverage and my hairdresser said my hair was in excellent condition. Never had this with other home dyeing kits. Love it and would highly recommend it to anyone considering buying from E-Salon.

I love ordering my hair color from eSalon. I love being able to discuss with a color stylist about changing my color. I've been using esalons's custom hair color for a year or so now and I highly recommend it! the color is always consistent and I get a good 8 weeks out of it. Definitely worth the money!

I love my custom hair color by eSalon. I tried the light blonde to cover and accent my full silver of 15 years. Came out beautiful. There is no ammonia so no horrible smell while coloring! Also, since it's "Demi" and slowly washes out, I don't look like a skunk between colorings! In conclusion, I love this product! ❤️

Loved the soft brown color and the coverage is fab. I have a lot of white hair and so far the color is still vibrant and it's been about 2 weeks. My hair feels soft and smooth.

I really like the eSalon color. With a box color your hair always comes out darker in the beginning then fades to the color you want. With the eSalon color it goes on the perfect color that you picked out. I feel the eSalon color lasts longer than box hair color.

The color product is top notch. I'm super picky about what I put in my hair and I've used from the worst to the best. This ranks up there in coverage, color stay, luminosity, depth. My only wish is that the shampoo be more moisturizing and the conditioner be stronger. LOVED the presentation of the box!

I have never dyed my auburn hair before but as I have some white hairs I needed to address this. After some trepidation I took the plunge and asked my friend to dye my hair with this product. It is an exact match to my natural colour and left my hair a natural auburn colour, shiny and soft. I am more than pleased.

My winter color is dark brown, but for summer I wanted to go lighter. My hair is very curly, thick and past my bra strap. I called and talked to my colorist to adjust. I received the right amount of color to cover all my hair (which is a lot). The color was lighter and covered the grey. I'm very satisfied.

It started out a little later than I liked right after the application( more on the light side of Auburn) and turned into a really nice coppery color with a little bit of goldthe next day. Good job. My color was spot on; exactly what I wanted. Kudos to my colorist! Application was easy. I appreciated the tools that came with my original order. The clips, brush, and bowl really were quite helpful for my sister who applied the product to my hair.

Before I colored I decided to get my hair cut and took my esalon kit with me to show my stylist. She said that as long as she was free and I had the kit with me why don't we just go ahead and apply it. She was very impressed with the color, said it was true to the name 'warm beige' and she liked the shampoo that came with it as well. All in all she was impressed with all of it and so was I.

Today is Monday, August 29, 2016 and i am extremely satisfied and happy with the way my color turned out.
When my husband got home from work, walked in the house, his first words, "your hair looks nice I knew you could do it." He has been telling me for a long time that I could do my own hair. Well, thanks to eSalon I can now do my own hair color at home. I always went to the salon for my color because I did not feel comfortable buying a box off the shelf at the store. eSalon solved that problem for me with a customize color just for me. I have used various brands and types of hair color in my time as well as professional coloring and I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with this product. From the customization process to the packaging, everything feels personalized and fail-proof. And let's talk about the color itself: it was easy, effective, and the color was well-distributed in my hair and looked just as good as a single process color at the salon for a fraction of the price. If you are honest on the questionnaire and follow the directions as provided, I feel confident you can have a similar experience. I was planning on simply trying it for the reduced price of a first time customer, but I am sold. I will eagerly be waiting for my next shipment!

I was so pleased with the color I chose! That Dark Chocolate was a HIT!!!!! I loved it and my friends and family loved it too! I got tons of compliments! So this time I can save some of the product aside without mixing it, that way I have some left to do root touch ups between coloring. MY COLOR IS PERFECT!!!!! This is a review of my NEW eSalon color! I have been using eSalon since 2013 ....and wouldn't dream of spending hours and $$$ to a high-end, brick and mortar salon.
I am THRILLED that the colorist (Courtney) took my written requests; and previous hair color photos... into serious consideration. She called me as well, we spoke for approx 10 minutes or more. She listened, gave me specific directions... then re-formulated my color and added the complimentary gloss color. I will be adding that to my order from now on! I ABSOLUTELY could not have gotten a BETTER COLOR AT ANY HIGH-END SALON! I am VERY PLEASED and HIGHLY recommend eSalon.
Being a natural redhead it has been very difficult to duplicate my color as I age... and my hair goes more and more WHITE gray, plus the texture changes, etc. While at the same time I needed to start to change the original red a bit, but I still wanted to be an Age-Appropriate redhead! (I guess only redheads would understand this issue)
My ONLY frustration, and I think this is due to my age ...and coarseness of my hair -plus a few hours in the sun here and there. I colored it just 3 weeks ago- and the hairline is starting to lighten a lot. However, it is lightening naturally, NOT with a color line stripe, which is great!
I do have the purple (color enhancing treatment) that I put in my hair for 2-3 minutes while in the shower. I recommend this as well. The bottle lasts a long long time and does not need to be purchased with each order.
Side Note
My hair products of choice beyond that are LIVING PROOF which I get on sephora- the best hair products I have ever used - both when I wear it curly (natural) or straight!

I was nervous about dying my hair myself, but everything I needed was sent, and I found the instructions easy to follow. The consistency of the product was thick enough that it didn't drip or run and the process was quick and straightforward. The only comment I would make is that the conditioner left my hair very greasy and heavy so that after 24 hours I just had to wash my hair again. However my hair is in beautiful condition so I'm sure it did it good.

I asked for a brighter red, an adjustment from my previous color, and it was spot on! I received so many complements after I colored my hair. It was perfect. You have a customer for life!

Covers gray completely. Leaves hair very soft and shiny. Easy to use. First at home hair color I have ever used. Will not go back to salon again. Love it.

For my first try on choosing a color and trying to match it to my natural color, it worked out FABULOUS. I didn't want a drastic change nor look like I am coloring my hair. I wanted something that matched pretty close to my natural color and cover my gray hairs. By covering my gray it looks like I have natural highlights rather than professionally done highlights. The color worked GREAT! I LOVE IT!

My hair-stylist that I've been going to for 20+ years retired :( He would cut and color my hair for no more than $40 (I know right?!?!). I cried... literally. I had read about Esalon in a magazine and thought I'd give it a try. I was intimidated at first and put it off as long as I could because I had never colored my own hair before. It turned out terrific!!! The instructions were amazing so you can't screw it up!!! Saves me sooooo much $$$!!! $24.95 (w/shipping) and my cut is $22 for a grand total of $46.95 (w/o tip).
