Color was awfulI’ve been dying my hair a long time and it’s especially hard to screw up my hair but this hair color has done just that. I ordered darkest brown + violet explaining I hate a lot of red and my hair turned 3 shades lighter on roots and looks horrible. I tried using the extra bottle of color to fix and it did same thing. Big mistakeIt was the biggest mistake I've ever made to order personalised color. I am blond and usually going for light highlights or Bright warm colours. I decided to order from this company as it looked legit. Turned out that color they sent me was red instead of light blond. Not only this - dye almost burned my scalp. It’s brownI have been confused about why the root color is brown and the strand color is red when I wanted red hair. I worked with it a few times trying to do it their way but always ended up blotchy. This time while I was coloring my roots I decided to pull the remaining through my hair to freshen up my color. DisappointedI wanted to like this but am disappointed both in the colour and in the coverage. Not correct.So, I’ve always dyed my own hair but decided I wanted better hair dye. This was my second box. I’m supposed to have black hair dye but my roots are red? Which is confusing because my natural hair is dark brown. Super disappointed considering the price. A little too darkI have tried eSalon’s ash blonde demi-permanent color twice now on my level 8 hair.. The first time was eSalon’s 8.1 medium ash blonde, which turned out like a level 6-7 light brown on me. It washed out eventually after using a whole bottle of clarifying shampoo. I alerted eSalon and they adjusted the next order to 9,1 ash blonde which I tried a month later. It wasn’t as dark, but on me it still turned out about a level 7. DANGERi don't know if this batch that i got was a new mix but i left it on my bathroom cart for 15 minutes only to come back and find all the contents completely oozed out of the bottle and unto my cart, which is now damaged. i tried to salvage whatever i could scoop up and tried to color my hair, immediately my eyes started to burn and tear up, and the smell of ammonia was overbearing, not to mention that i started to get sick to my stomach. I immediately washed it out of my hair. Won’t buy againThe color I received was nowhere near what I wanted. I do understand that can happen based on many things so that I could have dealt with. But… I followed instructions and by a week from the day I colored my hair roots around my face were already gray! This product also dried my hair out horribly. So disappointing! Darker color than my usual hairI have specifically informed them that i want to go ash brown they said its not doable but they can ho a shade lighter from what my current color is. Sentiment de non prise en compte de ma demandeC'est la troisième fois que je fais une commande sur eSalon. Pour cette dernière commande j'ai choisi une couleur plus foncée que la précédente tout en exprimant mes doutes, mes hésitations. De plus, j'ai également précisé qu'il fallait une touche de vert dans la composition car mes cheveux ont tendance à prendre des reflets roux que je n'aime pas du tout. Je suis très étonnée de n'avoir eu aucun retour, échanges avec un conseiller et également déçue de constater qu'il n'y a pas de touche de vert dans la composition de la couleur que je viens de recevoir. Extremely disappointedThe last dye I received was too light. I think it was mixed wrong. My roots ended up light brown instead of dark brown to match the rest of my hair. I had to buy hair dye from a beauty supply to fix it. Need better gray coverage. My grays will reappear after the second wash after dying with this dye. Terrible colorI have been using esalon for a while now. And at first my color was awesome. And the coverage was amazing. I felt beautiful after coloring my hair. Simple instructions fast shipping. But after a few shipments my hair started being a yellow color (not blonde but yellow) and my grey hair looked more predominate..so I emailed my colorist and she adjusted the color. My hair looks worse and the grey hair. Well u can see almost everyone of them suckers. :( I am not sure what happened between my first few orders to now. Horrible !J’avais tellement d’espoir et maintenant j’ai surtout du regret :( 1- je suis habitué à colorer mes cheveux, j’utilise des colorations pro (Schwarzkopf) et des colorations achetées au supermarché, et jamais je n’ai eu une coloration qui sentait comme celle-ci. L’odeur est insoutenable, mes yeux n’ont pas arrêté des perdre des « larmes » j’arrivais à peine à respirer ! 2- la couleur n’est pas du tout la couleur présentée quand j’ai passé commande ! J’ai demandé du châtain moyen irisé, et maintenant mes cheveux sont noirs, ternes et complètement cassés ! Même les couleurs acheté au supermarché correspond plus au photos que la vôtre !!! Colorist did not read my noteI had a couple of orders and LOVED my color. I did not order for a while and when I ordered again I thought I said all the same things but the color was very fake looking red. A red that is very unnatural. For my next ordered I looked up my previous color and put that in the note and I received the same FAKE UGLY RED! I really liked the original color so I’m willing to try one more time.. but it’s impossible to even contact anyone so im not going to hold my breath. Too bad. Not for black folksThis hair dye is NOT for all black women or men. At Ieast I know it's not for 100% African hair texture.....i.e. 4c hair. I should have known before purchasing, most of the women on the ad were non-black women. Did NOT cover my Grey hair like I expected. Très déçue du résultat, très foncéBonjour, Très déçue du résultat, la couleur est beaucoup beaucoup trop foncée, j'ai pris châtain clair et j'ai l'impression d'être châtain foncé! J'avais demandé lorsque de ma commande des tons jaunes ( non oranges ni rouges), que je ne retrouve pas... Du coup maintenant, esalon, comment je ratrape ça svp ? I might be expecting too much?I have light brown hair but it pulls really red whenever I lighten it. I tried going just one shade lighter than my natural color but it kept looking brassy. I tried leaving it on longer and getting more neutralizer in the formula but it's just not what I was hoping for. Everyone thought I was trying to color my hair red when I was trying to go neutral. Very damaging!I gave eSalon a chance with 3 separate orders. The color does not cover gray, comes out patchy, and severely damaged my hair. Color is not satisfactoryI didn’t have great expectations, but the color is off, and when my roots grew out there was quite a difference in color. Because of the pandemic, I felt it best to continue with Esalon until local salons could fix my hair back to my natural color. Overall, I’m simply not pleased with the color. Didn't cover roots wellHave used same color before with better results - didn't cover my roots very well. Even tried again after shampooing with leftover color and just didn't take. Will be rethinking buying this again.....was using to freshen roots between salon colors and it would get me a few weeks, but not this time, so ended up going back to salon the following week.
