eSalon creates and manufactures custom hair color and provides the guidance, tools, and expertise for clients to apply their color at home. We are a Los Angeles, CA based company who has expanded operations to the UK in our North Acton, London facilities.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Lead to conduct and oversee the day to day dispensing, picking / packing, shipping, warehouse, and quality assurance operations in our UK manufacturing facility including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Lead the supervision of Picker / Packers, Warehouse, and QA personnel to ensure workers adhere to attendance and performance requirements
Check in all incoming inventory and put it away in the warehouse using a forklift
Responsible for restocking shipping labels or any necessary products at the sourcing stations
Safely and securely change hair dye drums
Support sourcing by opening developer boxes and restocking workstations
Assist in wrapping outgoing pallets prior to shipping
Create airway bills for daily shipments
Help with cycle counts on a weekly basis
Provide support for all other production tasks and cleaning/organization of the machine areas
Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for the operational and maintenance of line equipment
Conduct quality assurance, including swatch testing and data entry and record keeping
Implement QC procedures on all incoming material, hair product, hair dye all while emphasizing attention to detail, accuracy and timely processing
Follow and enforce all cGMP rules for the quality lab area as well as the production floor in line with company policies
Help investigate root causes when a quality problem arises
Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
Conduct cross-training
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Prior experience working in a warehouse environment, including some supervision responsibilities
Pride and ownership in work, including strong work ethic, attendance, and performance
Consistent employment history with at least 6 consecutive months in the same job (preference for 1+ years)
Detail-Oriented with good Communication Skills
Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking initiative
Able to work with minimal supervision
Forklift certified
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to operate a variety of tools
Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Entrepreneurial spirit with willingness and ability to take direction from Los Angeles Headquarters
