eSalon is looking for a Senior Tech Project Manager to ensure organization and accountability of the Tech team (software developers) on their work in cross-functional projects. This individual will be responsible for the overall time management of Tech sprints, knowing and communicating the status of each Tech task across the company, working through dependencies and blockers, and providing the impact on overall project timeline from a Tech perspective. We are currently in the process of moving from a waterfall to Agile Scrum methodology and are looking to have this individual successfully drive this transition. This role will report to the Manager of the Project Management team and is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

Manage the coordination and delivery of high-quality releases for frontend and backend software for customer-facing & company-internal solutions
Drive and continuously improve upon a recently implemented Agile methodology.
Lead and manage all sprint and project planning activities pertaining to the Tech team to meet overall priorities and schedules, in coordination with Tech Management and Product Management.
Effectively manage ticket scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved.
Coordinate within the Tech team to resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the ticket lifecycle.
Recommend corrective action and ultimately drive to resolution.
Own & maintain internal facing Tech documentation.
Facilitate superior communications, coordination, and correspondence between staff and executive level stakeholders across the Engineering, Product, Brand, R&D and Operations organizations.
Partner with stakeholders to optimize the program's delivery timelines.
Other duties as assigned by Project Management.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience as a Tech Project Manager or Scrum Master in SW Development
Working knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
Experience with traditional Waterfall production management techniques along with Agile techniques, including SCRUM or Kanban. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus. Certified Scrum Master qualifications are also a plus.
Expertise with Microsoft Excel (creation and maintenance of advanced spreadsheets), JIRA, Confluence and other project tracking and bug database software.
Highly organized, highly diplomatic, possessing a high EQ
Experience working with high performing creative teams and demonstrated ability to partner effectively in a high pressure, collaborative environment.
Proven conflict management skills with a strength in mediation leading to resolution of risk and roadblocks.
Meticulous and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Get it done / can-do attitude who can motivate the team and remain flexible during ambiguity / changes.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be available during PST working hours.
Must be based out of the US with authorization to work in the US for any employer.
