Product Manager Spanish Language

We are looking for an experienced web Product Manager, fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the localization efforts leading up to the Spanish language launch of our site (for the U.S. Spanish speaking audience), and for managing the success of the property post-launch.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, a self-starter, comfortable with – or capable of quickly learning – JIRA, Confluence and other tools as required to manage the project. You should have excellent communication and team-building skills to collaborate effectively across departments and experience managing and tracking success metrics.

This position reports to the VP of Product Management, and will work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX, Tech, Creative, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

Product owner of the entire client lifecycle for eSalon’s U.S. Spanish speaking audience. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the localization of the web experience, email communication, acquisition marketing, and the client’s experience with our product at home.
Manage the delivery of content provided by external translators, ensuring clarity and quality of experience for the U.S. Spanish speaking audience and the maintenance of the Spanish language style guide.
Define success metrics and ensure success of the site within this market post-launch.
Seek opportunities for improvement and make suggestions that will improve the experience, acquisition, and lifetime value of this audience.
Communicate across teams and ensure all members are clear on delegated tasks and track progress.
Manage outside vendors as required.
Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues.
Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications

5+ years experience working on digital properties managing multi-faceted product launches.
Fluent in both English and Spanish (for a U.S. Spanish speaking audience) with excellent verbal and writing skills in both languages.
In-tune with cultural sensitivities/preferences when communicating with the U.S. Spanish speaking audience, and confidently able to make recommendations and provide feedback to translators.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
BS in Digital Marketing or relevant field.
A big plus if you have localization experience and understand best practices.
A plus if you have QA or UAT experience.
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Must be able to work onsite in our El Segundo Headquarters. Telecommute / remote work is not available.
